Skyler Bell 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Bills Ringing the Bell on New and Improved Passing Attack
Looking at the Bills' receiving room from a season ago, it's easy to see that they needed an injection of talent at the position. Khalil Shakir was Josh Allen's primary target, hauling in 72 of 95 targets for 719 receiving yards. At the same time, Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, Keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer rounded out the top five, all failing to surpass 575 receiving yards. Buffalo addressed this with the trade for DJ Moore and the selection of Skyler Bell. While Moore will capture all the headlines, it is Bell who has fallen a little under the radar. Bell was selected in the fifth round, back in April, which is the primary reason why you don't hear his name more often. Still, all he did last season was catch 101 passes for 1,278 (second-most in CFB) and has produced on a consistent level, recording 11 100-yard plus yard games over his final two seasons. Bell not only has the production profile but also plenty of speed (4.40 40-yard dash) and athleticism (41-inch vertical) that translate exceptionally well at the professional level. It also doesn't hurt that Bell not only has one of the best contested-catch rates among this year's receiver class, but his 67% and 77% success rates versus both zone and man coverage will help him to earn the trust of Allen early on.
