Shane Bieber Sharp Against Twins
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber had a good start Tuesday night vs the Twins giving up two earned runs in seven strong innings. Bieber gave up five hits with a walk and six strikeouts on the evening. The only damage that came against Bieber was solo home runs by Marwin Gonzalez and Eddie Rosario. It was a nice bounce-back start for the young right-hander after getting roughed up by Boston in his last start. Bieber now has 92 strikeouts in 75 2/3 innings this season with a strong 3.47 xFIP. He'll carry a 3.58 ERA into a tough matchup Sunday vs the Yankees.
