New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov produced 32 saves in Thursday's 3-1 win over Winnipeg, improving his record for the season to 2-2-0. The Russian netminder started with a pair of losses for his new club, but he's now won two on the bounce, allowing only three goals in the process. Following four starts, his numbers are solid with a 2.54 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage. Unfortunately for him, Thomas Greiss has done a bit better with a 2-1-0 record, a 2.28 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage, but the Isles have a couple of back-to-back situations coming up, so Varlamov should still get his chance to see the ice.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
