Scottie Scheffler turned in a seventh-place finish at the Sentry Tournament of Champions his last time out. This week, Scheffler tees it up in California at the American Express, an event he has struggled at the past two seasons. In his last two starts, Scheffler has a best finish of 25th in 2021, and shockingly missed the cut in 2022. However, Scheffler did finish inside the top five in 2020. Although missing the cut in 2023 for Scheffler is extremely unlikely, playing him in DFS has risk. With his incredibly high price, Scheffler will need a top-five finish to pay off the price, and recent history says that will not be the case.
