Saquon Barkley Not Looking Good For A Week 9 Return
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley's (knee) false-positive COVID-19 result has kept him out of practice for the last two days, and head coach Joe Judge didn't sound optimistic when discussing the running back's chances of returning in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. "I wouldn't eliminate it," Judge said, "but it's not moving in a direction to give us a definite answer in a positive way." On top of it, Barkley is still rehabbing a low ankle sprain and is trending toward missing his fourth straight game. Devontae Booker should continue to see most of New York's backfield touches alongside Elijhaa Penny, giving him RB2 appeal for at least one more week.
