San Francisco 49ers Defense Shuts Down Cowboys
2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers defense shut down the Dallas Cowboys in a 19-12 Divisional Round victory. The indomitable Niners held the Cowboys to 282 total yards and just a 33.3% third-down conversion rate. Interceptions by Fred Warner and Deommodore Lenoir, his second of the postseason, stopped Dallas drives. Samson Ebukam made a sack, and Nick Bosa made a QB hit. The 49ers DST scored 14 fantasy points in NFL.com's scoring, the second-most of all teams in the Divisional Round. Next week's NFC Championship Game matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles could prove to be a tougher test.
