Ryan Jeffers Homers, Drives in Two on Wednesday
Ryan Jeffers had a solid game in his team's 6-1 win over the Athletics on Wednesday. Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two runs, and two RBI in the win. The veteran catcher kicked off the scoring with a solo homer in the first inning, a shot that traveled 414 feet with an exit velocity of 104 MPH. Jeffers is now hitting .253 with four homers, 19 runs, and 20 RBI across 170 at-bats this season. He has been scuffling of late, hitting just .185 over his past seven contests. That being said, Jeffers has shown good power for a catcher, hitting 21 homers in 2024, which keeps him in the conversation in deeper fantasy leagues.
