Russell Wilson Looking To End A Disappointing Season Strong
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is coming off one of his best games of the season when he threw for 222 yards and a touchdown and added two rushing scores in the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. But Wilson's first season in Denver has gone horribly wrong. He has a career-worst 60.8% completion percentage, 3,241 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 14 games, averaging just over 15 fantasy points per game. The nine-time Pro Bowler gets the Los Angeles Chargers in the Week 18 regular season finale, a team that has been solid against the pass, allowing the sixth-fewest passing yards per game in 2022. There's no reason to treat Wilson as anything other than what he's been all year: a midrange QB2 with a low ceiling. In Week 6 against the Bolts, Wilson went 15-for-28 for 188 yards, one touchdown and no picks in a loss.
