6 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Rio Ruiz (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. This is the O's playing matchups and going with the right-handed bat versus the lefty pitcher. Hanser Alberto will play third base and bat leadoff against lefty Ryan Carpenter. Alberto has been hitting surprisingly well and is worth considering while batting in the leadoff spot on Wednesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
