1 month agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (shin) thinks he can play right now and has been hitting, throwing and started running drills on Tuesday. He doesn't think he'll need a rehab assignment before returning, but that won't be his call. The 25-year-old started the season off slow but came on strong and is hitting a nice .284/.334/.518 with 21 home runs, 67 runs, 58 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 380 at-bats. Not only was he carrying his weight offensively, but Laureano is also one of the better defensive center fielders in the game with a very strong arm. Keep him stashed everywhere and get ready for a return in the next week or so.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
