Puka Nacua 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Despite Off the Field Problems, Set to be the No. 1 Wide Receiver in Fantasy
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua set career highs across the board last season with catches (129), targets (166), receiving yards (1,715), and total touchdowns (11). The only knock on Nacua from last season was that teammate Davante Adams received more looks in the red zone and was targeted 34.8% of the time compared to Nacua's 17.0%. The Rams' core offense is returning in 2026 with Adams, Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and the team even extended NFL MVP Matthew Stafford to a one-year, $55 million extension this offseason. However, Nacua has had a tumultuous offseason. The 24-year-old is in a civil lawsuit after being accused of biting a woman and making antisemitic remarks, stemming from an incident on December 31. The former fifth-round pick later checked into a rehab facility. Per the star wide receiver's attorney, Levi McCathern, he has been in rehab for a "substantial period" before previous allegations of assault, and "he's scheduled to be there for a while longer." Nacua did report to the Rams' voluntary workouts and is seeking an extension as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. As long as Nacua can stay out of trouble and avoid a suspension, he is a surefire top-five pick in fantasy football and is currently being selected fourth overall on Sleeper.
