Phillies Linked to Luis Robert Jr.
Luis Robert Jr. (groin) remains out of the starting lineup for the second straight game on Saturday. The 27-year-old is dealing with a groin issue that will force him to miss the second game of this Crosstown Classic. Honestly, it might be best for Robert to rest and avoid any more injuries with his trade value heating up. The Philadelphia Phillies are reportedly closely monitoring Robert right now. Robert is having a down year, but was swinging the bat well before the injury. This season, Robert is slashing .206/.293/.343 with 10 home runs, 41 RBI, and 26 steals in 84 games. Clearly not great numbers, but there are not a ton of big-time hitters available at the trade deadline this year. Robert figures to gain more trade traction over the next week.
