Philip Rivers Throws For 310 Yards And Two TDs
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers controlled the game once again as he led his team to victory over the lowly Miami Dolphins. Rivers completed 80% of his passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-10 rout. Rivers was forced to work without two of his top three wide receivers, but he quickly turned to the backups like there was no difference. Rivers regularly peppered Dontrelle Inman, Lance Kendricks, Andre Patton, and Troymaine Pope with passes as the Chargers cruised to victory with a strong second half. Rivers is well on his way to being a top-five fantasy quarterback once again this season, though better defenses do lie in wait on the road ahead.
