Phil Mickelson Showing Signs Of Life
6 years agoAfter a strong start to the season, including his first win in over five years, Phil Mickelson has cooled off through the summer months. The 48-year-old showed some signs of life at last week's Northern Trust by posting three rounds of 68 and finishing in a tie for 15th place. Mickelson is trying to prove himself worthy of a Ryder Cup captain's pick over the next few weeks. "Lefty" is a streaky player and could be dangerous during the FedEx Cup stretch run. He is a sleeper play in the upcoming Dell Technologies Championship. The vet has solid course history at TPC Boston, including a win in 2007 and logging a T6 last year. Mickelson is a nice DFS option in large-field GPP formats.
