Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek will make his official debut for the team Thursday night against the Islanders, with him being named the starter by head coach Rod Brind'Amour. Mrazek is coming off from a disappointing season which he split between Detroit and Philadelphia, posting a 14-13-6 record in 33 stars with a 3.03 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage. However, there was plenty of hype around him only a couple of years ago, so maybe the Canes have gotten themselves a steal with a 1.5 million a year contract. Just don't count on him tonight, as Mrazek has a 6-4-1 career record against the Isles in 12 games, allowing 3.37 goals per game with an awful save percentage at 0.888.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
