New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso hit two home runs as part of a 3-for-6 day at the plate on Sunday. He scored three times and drove in four runs. The slugger has been on fire at the plate as of late, as this brings his homer count to five in the past five games. He's slashing .301/.396/.594 with 17 home runs, 61 RBI, and 41 runs in 66 games. It will be a tough task to beat out Shohei Ohtani, but Alonso has done everything he can to put himself in the discussion for the NL MVP Award and is a top-3 first baseman for fantasy.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBaller
