The New England Patriots released kicker Nick Folk (appendix) on Friday after signing Kai Forbath to replace the injured kicker in Week 13 against the Texans. Folk made seven of his nine field-goal tries and all three extra points in three games for the Patriots while replacing the injured Stephen Gostkowski. It's possible that the Patriots re-sign Folk after this week when he's recovered from an appendectomy, but it's not a certainty. Anyone attempting kicks for the Patriots is usually fantasy relevant, so Forbath could be on the streaming radar if he's the team's kicker the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
