Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane (lower body) will miss a third straight game on Thursday against Colorado and was placed on Injured Reserve, but he is expected to be back in action Saturday versus Seattle. Kane was moved to Injured Reserve retroactively to Jan. 3, meaning he can be activated for Saturday's contest. Chicago made the move to activate MacKenzie Entwistle (wrist) ahead of Thursday's contest. Kane might be hoping that a short stint on the sidelines will also give him a restart that can help him to turn around his season. Through 37 games, Kane has notched only seven goals and 20 assists. Lukas Reichel will continue to fill in for him on the first line Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
