Pat Freiermuth Ruled Out With A Concussion
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) was ruled out for the rest of the day on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans when he was diagnosed with a concussion. Before leaving the contest in Week 15, Freiermuth was leading the Steelers in receiving with only 37 yards, catching all four of his targets. The good news is that Freiermuth made the most of his work in the game before suffering a head injury, but it's still a tough break for any fantasy managers that started the impressive rookie in the first week of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues. With Freiermuth out, Eric Ebron will step into a larger workload, and he could be on the streaming radar in deeper leagues next week if Freiermuth can't clear the league's concussion protocols.
