Pat Freiermuth Limited On Wednesday
12 months agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant at Tuesday's practice session. Freiermuth is dealing with a knee injury as the team prepares for a Saturday matchup against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals, but it's an injury that doesn't appear to be serious enough to keep him sidelined in Week 16. The 25-year-old missed five games earlier this year due to a hamstring injury that landed him on Injured Reserve, but he's been back since Week 11. Aside from a nine-catch, 120-yard performance in the Week 12 win over the Bengals, Freiermuth has done very little, catching nine passes (16 targets) for 63 yards in the last three games. In Pittsburgh's low-scoring offense that will now see quarterback Mason Rudolph make his first start of the year, Freiermuth should be considered a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE1, at best, in fantasy.
