16 hours agoPortland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He was originally listed as doubtful ahead of this game due to a right knee soreness. The Blazers will take the cautious approach here and hold Ayton out here. His absence will result in Duop Reath moving into the starting five. He has decent scoring ability, but Jabari Walker is the better streaming choice between the two.Source: Casey Holdahl
16 hours agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (ankle) will be under a minutes limit for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. It looks like Murray will be back after missing Saturday's game due to a right ankle sprain. However, the Nuggets are going to be cautious and monitor his minutes. That being said, Reggie Jackson should continue having short term fantasy value. Although, he's expected to see a decrease in value once Murray is back to full health.Source: Ohm Youngmisuk
16 hours agoOrlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (ankle) won't return to Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The young guard fell awkwardly and suffered a right ankle sprain. As a result, the Magic are going to hold him out for the rest of the game. It's unknown if he'll miss more time, so fantasy managers will have to check back for another update. In the meantime, Cole Anthony and Gary Harris should see increased minutes with Suggs unavailable.Source: Orlando Magic PR
16 hours agoDallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum will move into the starting five ahead of Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. The Mavs are looking to fill the void with Grant Williams (knee) unable to play. Exum is averaging 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 13.8 minutes over his last 10 games. The Mavs are desperate with multiple players sidelined for this game. That means, Exum should get a decent look in the rotation, but isn't a must-have streaming option on an 11-game slate.Source: Dallas Mavericks
16 hours agoCharlotte Hornets center Nick Richards will move into the starting five ahead of Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Big man Mark Williams (back) will sit out this game, so Richards should have a significant role in the rotation. Richards averaged a double-double during nine starts last season. He's well worth a look as a streaming option with the Hornets shorthanded on Wednesday.Source: NBA.com
16 hours agoChicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (toe) is available for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. He was considered probable coming into this game, but will officially suit up for this game. He'll be in the starting five and resume his normal role in the rotation. The presence of Caruso will mean less minutes for Ayo Dosunmu in the rotation on Wednesday. Fantasy managers who have Caruso rostered and safely return him to their lineups.Source: NBA Injury Report
19 hours agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton (illness) was originally listed as probable so the fact he was upgraded to active doesn't come as a huge surprise. He'll be back in the starting five along with a fully healthy Sixers squad for the first time since Kelly Oubre Jr. (ribs) first got injured. Melton's fantasy value will likely take a bit of a hit with the team's offensive firepower back on the court, but his defensive value should remain the same. Melton continues to see higher value in deeper leagues.Source: Ky Carlin
19 hours agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (ankle) has missed the last six consecutive games but has been upgraded from questionable to active on Wednesday. He will take the floor against the Orlando Magic but he's going to come off of the bench in a limited capacity for his first game back. Wade likely won't be a big fantasy contributor in this game, but his return could mean fewer minutes for Georges Niang and Isaac Okoro which would make all three hard to start in fantasy leagues except for the deeper ones.Source: Chris Fedor
19 hours agoWashington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (rib) has been downgraded to out against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The sharpshooter is dealing with a right rib sprain that ultimately gave him too much pain to play through. While he's on the sidelines, Jordan Poole (ankle) and Johnny Davis (calf) will both see more minutes if they are able to be upgraded from questionable. Otherwise, Corey Kispert and Bilal Coulibaly could see a lot of minutes in this contest.Source: Washington Wizards
19 hours agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards (hip) will play on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs and head coach Chris Finch said that he won't be restricted either. Edwards has been the leader of the team's offense as the Timberwolves currently sit at the top of the Western Conference. He's missed the last two games with a hip issue, so his return will be welcomed by the team and fantasy managers alike.Source: Tom Orsborn
19 hours agoDallas Mavericks forward Grant Williams (knee) has been listed as questionable for their Wednesday night game against the Utah Jazz as he deals with right knee soreness. The 25-year-old has seen some very inconsistent output so far this season despite playing the most minutes per contest of his career. If he's unable to play, the rookie Olivier-Maxence Prosper may step up into the starting five unless the team decides to go with a small-ball approach. Fantasy managers will want to check for any updates closer to tipoff to see if Williams will remain in the starting lineup.Source: NBA Injury Report
19 hours agoCharlotte Hornets center Mark Williams (back) is currently dealing with a lower back contusion and has been marked as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls. The seven-footer has been an underrated fantasy asset so far this season as he's averaged a double-double along with 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest. If he's unable to suit up, Nick Richards would slide into the starting five while JT Thor would likely see the backup minutes. Richards is the only one worth adding as a streaming option though.Source: NBA Injury Report
19 hours agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo (hip) will get the night off on Wednesday to nurse a left hip contusion which has bothered him for a while now. The star center will miss the contest against the Toronto Raptors which means Orlando Robinson will likely remain in the starting lineup while Kevin Love will see some additional minutes off of the bench. Robinson has been a solid streaming option for rebounds, at the very least, when he gets some more opportunities. It's unclear how many more games Adebayo will have to miss at this time.Source: NBA Injury Report
21 hours agoLos Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue says center Mason Plumlee (knee) did a "slow run" on the court recently but is still a ways away from practicing 5-on-5 in his recovery. Plumlee had to be carried off the Madison Square Garden courtread more...
21 hours agoHouston Rockets forward Tari Eason (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to an illness. Eason got off to a late start in the 2023-24 campaign due to a preseason stress reaction in his lower left leg, and he's taken a slight step back after a promising rookie year on this more talented Rockets squad. The 22-year-old former first-round pick is averaging just 6.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 17.9 minutes through 10 games as a strict reserve for head coach Ime Udoka. If Eason is unable to play on Wednesday against OKC, his absence would likely entail increased run for Jae'Sean Tate and Jeff Green in the second unit. Eason is worth keeping an eye on in season-long fantasy leagues for his ability to rack up defensive stats when given meaningful playing time, but he doesn't warrant a roster spot in most formats with Houston fairly healthy at this stage of the season.Source: NBA.com
