Packers Say Aaron Rodgers Will Be Back In 2021
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said "there's no doubt about it" that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be back with the team in 2021. "You're talking about the guy who's going to win the MVP of the league. We're not in this position without him," LaFleur said. The head coach also said he thinks Rodgers will be a Packer "for a long time." General manager Brian Gutekunst also echoed those sentiments about Rodgers. The presence of Jordan Love, who the Packers traded up to take in the first round of last year's draft, will continue to raise questions about the 37-year-old's future. The expected MVP of the 2020 season will be back in 2021, but 2022 might be a different story, especially if Rodgers doesn't play as well next season. But after the incredible year he had this past year, fantasy managers will be much more willing to pull the trigger on him as an unquestioned QB1.
