Athletics starting pitcher Osvaldo Bido has officially won a spot in the rotation, according to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. He's struggled this spring but is coming off a surprisingly promising 2024. He posted a 3.41 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with 63 strikeouts in 63.1 innings for the Pirates. His underlying metrics looked even better, with a .272 xERA (94th percentile), .181 xBA (98th percentile), and a 27.0% hard-hit rate (100th percentile). He's one to watch in deeper leagues and could be worth a late-round flier at the end of drafts.--Jeremy Heist
