According to the team, the Baltimore Orioles have designated outfielder Daz Cameron for assignment. This transaction opened a roster spot for Roansy Contreras, who the team claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees earlier on Friday. Last season, Cameron logged 66 contests with the Oakland Athletics. During this stint, the 28-year-old posted a .200/.258/.329 line with five doubles, five home runs, and five stolen bases. Across 139 career games at the MLB level, Cameron has held a similar .201/.263/.330 line. Through 423 career games at Triple-A, the outfielder has posted a .250/.339/.427 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect Cameron to spend most of the 2025 season at the Triple-A level, given his lack of success in the major leagues.--Andy Smith
