Odell Beckham Jr. To Be Game-Time Decision
3 years agoCleveland Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) will be a game-time decision in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. And if Beckham does make his season debut, it sounds as though he'll be on a pitch count. It's not what fantasy managers wanted to hear after Beckham practiced in full on Wednesday. OBJ was a game-time decision last Sunday and did not play, but it sounds like he's made notable progress after tearing his ACL last season. The Bears defense has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to receivers through the first two weeks, but that might not matter if Beckham isn't on the field all that much. If he is out again or limited, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Rashard Higgins should benefit the most in this run-first offense with Jarvis Landry (knee) also sidelined.
