New Jersey Devils left wing Nolan Foote had a productive NHL debut on Sunday, finishing a 5-3 loss to the Rangers with an assist. The 20-year-old skated on the fourth line but also spent some time with Nico Hischier, helping the team captain to score 5:30 into the final frame. Foote, whose father Adam beat the Devils with Colorado in the 2001 Stanley Cup Finals, was Tampa Bay's first-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, but his rights were traded in a deal for Blake Coleman a year ago. He posted 16 points in 20 games in the AHL before getting a call-up to the big league. The Devils have plenty of holes to fill up front, so youngsters like Foote are getting a chance to impress with the team having nothing left to play for.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
