Noah Brown 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Late-Round Best Ball Dart Throw With New Team
3 months agoWide receiver Noah Brown (shoulder) was one of the more pleasant surprises in the second half of the 2023 season when he stepped into a more significant role in the Houston Texans' offense. Despite having back-to-back games of 150+ receiving yards, the team ultimately released him leading up to the regular season. It is fair to speculate whether this is due to him missing time in training camp while recovering from shoulder surgery or the arrival of Stefon Diggs into an already-loaded Houston receiving corps. The Washington Commanders quickly snatched up the 28-year-old, and he now looks set to compete for meaningful snaps on an offense with some uncertainty. Washington bolsters little reliable depth behind Terry McLaurin after the departure of Jahan Dotson, and Brown will now vie for snaps with Dyami Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus, and rookie Luke McCaffrey. It is unclear what role he will play moving forward, but is hard to trust as an at-best second-option in an offense led by a mobile rookie quarterback. He's Yahoo!'s WR115 in ADP and a better bet in best ball formats until he carves out a role in the Commanders' offense.
