No Structural Damage Found In John Means' Shoulder
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Sunday that an MRI exam on starting pitcher John Means' (shoulder) left shoulder revealed no structural damage, per MLB.com's Joe Trezza. Means was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier in the day after experiencing shoulder fatigue in his Saturday start. The good news is that the injury is considered minor, but this will be Means' fourth injured-list stay since 2019. It makes sense that the O's will proceed with caution, as Means has pitched like an ace this season with a 2.28 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 25.7% strikeout rate.
