Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed (knee) was a late scratch from the lineup on Tuesday afternoon, according to Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Ahmed has not appeared in a game since March 6, as he has been dealing with right knee soreness. With Ahmed's continued absence, Josh Rojas has been taking advantage of the increased playing time, as he is hitting .371/.436/.686 with three home runs over 12 games. When healthy, Ahmed is a solid, late-round middle infield option who can provide 15 to 20 home runs with a decent average.--Michael
