Mitch Keller Makes For A Strong Pick In Dynasty Leagues
7 years agoRanked as a top-30 prospect by both Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus, Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller is one of the high rising starting pitchers in all of baseball. The right-hander possesses one of the best fastballs in all of the minor leagues and throws a powerful curveball. He is still working on his third pitch, the changeup. Keller is more likely to make an impact in 2019, than in 2018 as he has yet to reach Triple-A and the Pirates are in no rush to promote him until they feel he is there to stay. Throughout his four-year minor league career, he owns a 2.79 ERA with a 1,05 WHIP and 9.5 K/9. As one of the top pitching prospects in the game, he should be owned in dynasty and keeper leagues. He can be avoided in NL-only and mixed leagues for now, but should he get the call, he will be someone to keep a close eye on.
