Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen (upper body) will sit out a second consecutive game Thursday against Washington. The Finnish workhorse is carrying an upper-body injury since the start of this week and is considered day-to-day. Joel Hanley has entered the lineup in Heiskanen's absence and Nils Lundkvist has started to ride with the first power-play unit in his place. He led the team with 3:17 of power-play time in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Boston. Lundkvist's start to the campaign hasn't gone too well since he forced a trade from the Rangers, but he's a great talent and could be ready to make noise Thursday against a team that boasts a lowly 73.7 percent penalty-killing efficiency.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
