Colorado Avalanche left wing Mikko Rantanen scored a power-play goal in the third period of Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues. Rantanen has been outstanding through the first quarter of the season and sits first in the league in points scored. The Finnish winger has 11 goals, 32 assists, 13 power-play points, and 58 shots through 26 games. He is currently riding a seven-game point streak. Rantanen has developed into one of the league's top young players. Continuing to play alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog suggests that the production will keep on coming. --Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
