8 months agoColorado Avalanche left wing Mikko Rantanen scored a goal and added two assists during a 4-3 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night. The strong performance gave him a new career high in points. Rantanen has become one of the best young forwards in the league. He has 29 goals, 56 assists, 31 power-play points, and a plus-18 rating through 67 games. The formidable Avs' trio of Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon, and Gabriel Landeskog continues to demolish opposing goaltenders. All three of them are definite starts heading into Thursday's matchup against the Dallas Stars.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
