Colorado Avalanche left wing Mikko Rantanen scored a goal and added two assists during a 4-3 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night. The strong performance gave him a new career high in points. Rantanen has become one of the best young forwards in the league. He has 29 goals, 56 assists, 31 power-play points, and a plus-18 rating through 67 games.
