Chicago White Sox third baseman Miguel Vargas blasted his first home run of the season in the sixth inning to give the White Sox a 3-0 lead over the Twins in their victory on Thursday. The game was final after seven innings due to weather, but the win for the White Sox salvaged them from getting swept by the Twins in their three-game series. Vargas has been struggling this season, slashing .163/.258/.256 with nine runs scored and seven RBI. For now, he continues to occupy third base for the White Sox and bats towards the bottom of the order. In over four seasons in the MLB, Vargas is a career .173 hitter, so it's challenging to continue to trust Vargas in any fantasy formats. Up next for the White Sox is a three-game series in Sacramento to take on the Athletics.--Nicho Roessler
