Michael Thomas 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Free Agent Fallen From Grace
7 months agoAfter a storied 2019 in which he broke the single-season reception record, free agent wide receiver Michael Thomas' career was marred by injury between 2020 and 2022. Thomas suited up a total of 10 games during that span but returned to action last season as a sound contributor for the New Orleans Saints. He was a low-end PPR asset for fantasy through the first eight weeks of 2023 before a goose egg in Week 9. The following week, Thomas fell victim to a season-ending MCL injury. At 31, age and injury affected Thomas's recent fall to free agency. While there is undoubtedly work for a WR who was once on a Hall-of-Fame trajectory, his overall ADP of status in Yahoo rafts eludes to a player who will most likely go undrafted. Keep an eye on him, though, as the WR110 in RotoBaller's rankings could still provide some low-end flex value if dropped in the right situation.
