St. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect Michael McGreevy tossed six innings of one-run ball en route to earning his third victory of the season on Tuesday evening against the Norfolk Tides. In this outing, McGreevy allowed six hits and no walks. He struck out five. This was a nice bounce-back outing for the former 18th overall pick, as he allowed three runs in his last start. Across his first five starts of the Triple-A regular season (25 innings), the right-hander has posted a 3.60 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP. He has held a strong 21:4 K:BB and allowed just three home runs. Last summer, the 24-year-old made his MLB debut and posted a solid 1.96 ERA with a 0.78 WHIP across his first 23 innings. Fantasy managers should expect McGreevy to join St. Louis in the coming weeks if he continues to perform well at Triple-A.--Andy Smith
