Michael Chavis Breaks Home Run Drought
6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Michael Chavis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Thursday. It was his 11th home run on the season, but first since May 22. Chavis is slashing .249/.337/.464 on the year. He's cooled off considerably since the first month after his call-up and has a dreadful strikeout rate of 33.3%. Still, he's starting most games for one of the league's most potent offenses, has a lot of power potential and should be owned and started in most formats.
