Melvin Gordon III Scores Lone Denver Touchdown Sunday
3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III carried the ball nine times for 45 yards and the team's only touchdown in a disappointing 30-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. He added one catch for minus-two yards on four targets and also lost a fumble that was returned 77 yards for a touchdown by the Eagles defense. Gordon and rookie Javonte Williams, who had one fewer carry than Gordon, were both productive on the ground, but the Broncos were playing from behind all day and could never establish the run like they did last week when they accumulated a season-high 190 rushing yards. The 28-year-old has maintained fantasy value as an RB2/3 because of his nose for the end zone while splitting touches almost evenly with Williams leading into the team's Week 11 bye. We doubt the Broncos will alter this approach all that much when they return in Week 12.
