Max Pacioretty Scores Game-Winner in Return to Lineup
6 years agoVegas Golden Knights forward Max Pacioretty scored the eventual game-winning goal on Friday in his first game back after recovering from a lower-body injury. Pacioretty immediately reclaimed his spot on the second line and second power-play unit after missing seven games. He also recorded six shots while improving his shot rate to 2.6 shots per game. Having posted 20 points in 31 games this season, it appears Pacioretty is fully past his slump from last season that snapped a streak of four consecutive seasons with 60 or more points. Missed time due to injury will likely keep him from reaching 60 points again this season, but he can still be a useful piece for fantasy owners, although not someone that must be rostered.
