Washington Capitals forward Max Pacioretty (Achilles) skated on Friday but is still two or three weeks away from returning, according to head coach Spencer Carbery. Pacioretty signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Caps this offseason, but the team knew he would need some time at the beginning of the season to recover from a torn Achilles (his second in two years) that he suffered last season. Although he has only played 44 games over the last two seasons, he is still a major contributor when healthy, notching 40 points in those games. He should get plenty of opportunity on the Caps' first power-play unit and top six when he comes back, and with his shot and hit totals, he is a good addition in any league.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
