5 months agoNashville Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm registered the game-winning goal and added an assist in his team's 4-1 victory against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The 28-year-old filled the box score in the contest, also contributing a plus-two rating, two shots, two hits and a block in 23:54 of ice time. Ekholm is once again providing great value as a strong depth defenseman in fantasy hockey and is currently on pace to shatter his career high of 35 points (set back in 2015-2016) as he ranks 13th at his position in scoring with 28 points (four goals, 24 assists) in 42 games on the campaign. He should once again be active in lineups ahead of Monday's tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
