Matt Gorski Moved to the 60-Day Injured List
Matt Gorski (undisclosed) was transferred from the seven-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, meaning the 27-year-old will be out until after the All-Star break. There has been no news on exactly what injury Gorski is dealing with, but he won't be back in action for a while. Before the injury, the 27-year-old made some headlines early in the season when he made his debut with the Pirates and homered in his first at-bat. He hit .195 in his 15 games in the majors with two homers and a .259 wOBA. He was returned to Triple-A when Spencer Horwitz was able to return from his injury. Gorski played just four games and went 1-for-9 after heading back to Indianapolis before landing on the injured list. He could get another chance for the Pirates late in the season, depending on what exactly the injury is that he's battling.
