Masyn Winn Tallies Four Hits in Victory
Masyn Winn went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two singles in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He added an RBI and three runs scored. Winn struck out in his first at-bat, but was a mainstay on the bases thereafter. He singled in the fourth and was sent home later on a Jordan Walker base knock. Then, he doubled in the fifth -- driving in teammate Lars Nootbaar -- and scored a batter later when Brendan Donovan blasted a two-run homer. The 23-year-old doubled again in the seventh and capped off the massive performance with another single in the eighth. Winn is having another solid season in 2025. Despite a small step back in strikeout percentage (22.7%), he's sporting a slightly increased walk rate (9.9%), average exit velocity (88.6 MPH), and hard-hit rate (36.1%) -- slashing .278/.357/.438 through 162 at-bats.
