Mason Adams Settling In At Double-A
6 months agoChicago White Sox starting pitching prospect Mason Adams has begun to turn the corner at Double-A and could be promoted up to Triple-A later this summer. After opening the season with a poor 3.68 ERA in April, he has responded with a stellar 0.91 ERA and 0.81 WHIP through five starts in May. Adams did not allow more than one earned run in each of his starts and tossed two six-inning shutout performances throughout May. The 24-year-old has now logged 72 innings at Double-A over the past two seasons with an overall 2.13 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. MLB Pipeline considered the right-hander the number 19 prospect in the White Sox system and projects him to reach the major leagues next season. If Adams can carry this dominance into Triple-A, he is well worth adding in dynasty and keeper formats.
