Marvin Mims Jr. Off The Fantasy Radar In Week 15
12 months agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. could very well get behind the Detroit Lions secondary for a big play in Week 15's Saturday night showdown, but it's also pretty unlikely. Mims has mainly been a special-teams standout as a kick returner in his first NFL season. On the offensive side, he made most of his noise in 2023 early in the year and has totaled only 18 catches for 298 yards and one touchdown on 26 targets over 13 games. The 21-year-old speedster saw a brief uptick in involvement following the Week 9 bye, but he was back down to 37% of the offensive snaps played last week and hasn't caught more than two passes or exceeded 47 receiving yards in a game since the team's 50-point blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Even though the Lions D is one of the better matchups for receivers, Mims doesn't belong in starting fantasy lineups in Week 15.
