2 years agoWinnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele recorded his sixth career hat trick in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to Vegas. He only barely got there, with Scheifele's final goal coming just two seconds from the end of regulation. He opened the scoring in the first period and gave the Jets a 4-3 lead with a power-play goal early in the third, but the Golden Knights responded by getting three unanswered goals before Scheifele was able to find the net again. He now boasts eight goals from his last nine appearances, moving to 18 markers for the whole campaign. In 28 games this season, Scheifele has also dished out eight assists, while recording 75 shots.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
