Mac Jones Ready for a Favorable Matchup in Week 2
Mac Jones will get the start in Sunday's meeting with the Saints. With Brock Purdy (toe) out for the foreseeable future, the 49ers will now turn to Jones, who hasn't exactly had the best track record since entering the league in 2021. San Francisco will also be without George Kittle (hamstring). That may also be the case for Jauan Jennings (shoulder), who is listed as questionable. However, Christian McCaffrey is in the mix, which certainly helps take some pressure off of the signal-caller. Jones, who has thrown for 10,590 yards, 54 touchdowns, and 44 interceptions throughout his career, reportedly looked good during training camp. All things considered, Jones has a favorable matchup in Week 2 versus New Orleans, so he deserves consideration in SuperFlex formats. The 27-year-old should also see interest from DFS managers due to his rostering cost.
