Luke Kennard 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard has quietly become one of the league's best threats from downtown. His post-All-Star break numbers last season were more than impressive as he averaged 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists while connecting on 2.1 makes from three with an elite shooting split of .466/.427/.923. Coach Casey has made things clear that he likes Kennard off the bench and if this does continue to be the trend, that this will definitely hinder the young shooter's potential for this upcoming season. At the moment, he can be targeted as a deep-league three-point specialist, but keep an eye on his situation because he does fit well alongside Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin as he is an elite floor spacer. For now, he is worth a late-round grab in 12-team category leagues and possibly even point leagues.
