Lukas Reichel Notches Three Points Against Flames
2 years agoChicago Blackhawks forward Lukas Reichel had a night to remember Sunday, scoring his career goal and recording two assists in a 4-3 overtime victory against Calgary. He celebrated his first goal 2:39 into the game and went on to set up Philipp Kurashev and Max Domi. The latter scored the winner 1:04 into the extra frame. We have seen very little of Reichel, who skated in only his third game of the season, but he has received a bigger role for the last couple of games, taking over from Patrick Kane (lower body) on the first line. Kane skated on Sunday morning, but it looks like the team doesn't want to rush him back. However, with the next game not until Thursday, Kane gets a nice chunk of recovery time and could be back by then, which will likely end Reichel's ride on the first line.
