The Detroit Lions defense ranked dead-last in fantasy points per game last season (3.4) and is matched up with a loaded Philadelphia Eagles offense in Week 1. Additionally, the Eagles allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to D/STs last year. Detroit looks to be a much-improved team, but the defense is still expected to be a bottom-dwelling unit in the NFL. Aside from Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit failed to bring in impactful additions to that side of the ball.
